Intro

I am currently a junior studying at the University of Southern Mississippi. I am in the Accelerated Masters Program, taking graduate-level courses that count for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. Once I complete my Bachelor’s, I will continue my education in the USM Master of Library Science Program.

I currently work as a student worker at USM’s Cook Library in Hattiesburg, MS at the Research Services Desk. I also work as a freelance violinist and violin teacher primarily in my home parish, Pointe Coupee, Louisiana. I intend to become a public librarian in my home state and also to continue working as a violinist in my free time.

In the navigation bar above, you can view my resume, examples of my work, and links to my social media and violin website.

My CV

At Cook Library, I provide research assistance to students, faculty, and community users as well as deal with technical issues and provide answers to directional queries.

My greatest achievement in the field of Library Science so far is the exhibit I curated at McCain Library and Archives for the 2023-2024 Student Curator Program. Click here to see the exhibit announcement and here for the video made on the exhibit.

I also have been working as a gig violinist and violin teacher for over ten years. I specialize in weddings and background music for events. Click here to see the website I coded for my violin business.
